Job Title:
Operating Theatre Staff

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals to join our operating theatre team. As a key member of our perioperative services department, you will be responsible for facilitating the surgeon within the theatre setting, supporting and collaborating with the theatre team to provide excellent patient-centered care.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Facilitating the surgeon within the theatre setting
  • Supporting and collaborating with the theatre team
  • Preparation of the operating theatre and preparing patients for surgery
  • Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care


Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital perioperative setting
  • At least 2 years' recent Scrub/Scout experience
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded, although not essential
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to role model and promote the Mater values
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levels
