Textile Design Expert Wanted

We are looking for a skilled and imaginative textile designer to join our design team on a fixed term contract.
About the Role:- Create original artwork that brings our design vision to life.
- Collaborate closely with our design team, using your skills to translate trends and concepts into finished designs across print, weave, embroidery and more.
- Develop artwork in line with our design direction, briefs, and technical specifications.
- Prepare technical spec packets for production and review supplier samples, including repeats and colour separations.
- Maintain accurate and accessible artwork files and archives.
- Research trends and interpret market knowledge with a commercial lens.
- Collaborate with design, product development, and graphic teams.
- Support a safe and professional studio environment.
- Experienced designer with a keen eye for colour, texture, and repeat layout.
- Fluent in Adobe Suite and skilled at turning ideas into tangible beauty.
- Tertiary qualification in Textile Design or similar.
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar textile design role.
- Strong drawing, painting, and rendering skills along with commercial creativity.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
