Installation Technician

This role is ideal for a skilled individual who enjoys working with their hands and has experience in air conditioning or fitter and turner type roles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and servicing air filtration kits at various sites across Australia. They will work closely with the assembly team, traveling to different locations as required, while also contributing to kit assembly in the workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install kits using hand tools and machinery, ensuring quality and precision.
  • Assist with air filtration kit assembly, utilizing hand tools and machinery to meet specifications and standards.
  • Travel regularly within Australia for installations, repairs, and servicing, adapting to diverse environments.
  • Document all installations thoroughly, including photographs and written reports, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Report discrepancies or issues during installations, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide excellent customer service and technical support, addressing client needs effectively.
  • Educate customers on proper use and maintenance of installed filtration systems.
  • Benchmark customer relationships through effective communication and exemplary service delivery.
  • Offer technical assistance and guidance to customers as required, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
  • Adequately adhere to the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act and regulations.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in safety training sessions and meetings as required.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in air conditioning or a fitter and turner type role.
  • Customer service experience, with ability to liaise with clients on site.
  • Manual Drivers Licence.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Your own tools (required after completing the training period).
  • Forklift and Working at Heights tickets (preferred but not essential).
  • Site experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a quick learner.
