We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Geriatric Medicine Registrar to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
About the RoleThe Geriatric Evaluation and Management Unit provides specialist in-patient care to the growing communities of the West. The unit consists of a state-of-the-art 30-bed inpatient ward with GEM/TCP/Rehabilitation services, supervised by geriatricians, registrars, and HMOs. There is a strong multidisciplinary team consisting of medical, nursing, and allied health staff.
In addition to ward responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to be involved in ACAS rounds as well as specialist clinics. Our hospital is a teaching institution affiliated with the University of Notre Dame.
About You- Must have valid AHPRA medical registration
- Full-time position based at Werribee Mercy Hospital
- Great experience for an RACP trainee
- Must hold full driver's licence
