Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our cross-functional team focused on increasing technology awareness and adoption of cloud solutions through engaging with Enterprise customers.

This is a unique opportunity to make history partnering with Energy & Resources customers and transform their business.

  • Develop and execute against a strategic plan that leads to the creation and maintenance of a robust pipeline of value-based opportunities.
  • Analyse metrics and data from your accounts to help evolve your strategy.
  • Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement.
  • Work with partners to manage joint engagement opportunities.
  • Assist customer in identifying use cases for priority adoption of Amazon Web Services as well as best practice implementations.
About the Team

The Energy & Resources team focuses on Australian headquartered enterprises across mining, upstream oil and gas, power & utilities, and industrial industries. Our customers span both technical and business roles and are tackling large scale transformation opportunities including decarbonisation, production optimisation, health and safety, exploration, supply chain & logistics, automated operations and more.

AWS helps our customers leverage the cloud to modernize their business, reduce cost and increase agility. We collaborate with our customers to re-imagine the future and push the boundary of technology to some of the most isolated locations in the world.

Requirements

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • 6+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
  • Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience and understanding of the mining and resources sector in Australia
