The Role

An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Property Manager to assist a dynamic team of commercial real estate property managers in the daily management of their client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team with day-to-day activities associated with managing client portfolios.
  • Code invoices, and financial accounting including accounts payable, receivable, and budgeting.
  • Raise Purchase Orders as required.
  • Arrears Management.
  • Raise Sundry charges as required.
  • Undertake fixed, CPI and assist with market rent reviews.
  • Lease maintenance to ensure information is up to date and correct.
  • Monthly tenant reporting which will include general issues, maintenance issues, upcoming works, relevant schedules, and arrears recommendations.
  • Monitor and follow up on any defects and ongoing maintenance of your portfolio, assign works, and ensure work orders are completed and actioned accordingly.

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least 1 year's experience in a similar property role.
  • Relevant degree preferable, i.e. Bachelor of Business (Property).
  • Hold a valid and current Agents Representative/Certificate of Registration.
  • Possess competent skills in utilising the MS Office Suite.
  • Hold strong analytical skills in conjunction with high attention to detail.
  • Possess strong organisation skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Be a confident communicator with a demonstrated ability to engage within a team.
  • Look for opportunities to contribute, innovate and add value.
  • Demonstrate initiative and a proven ability to work autonomously.
  • Be able to coordinate business submissions and reports.
