The Project Overview

The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is a significant undertaking by CPB Contractors and Downer, focusing on upgrading and replacing existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capabilities for the next three decades.

This extensive project comprises a program of works across three Department of Defence establishments:

  • Albury Wodonga Military Area (including North, South & East Bandiana, Latchford Barracks, Wirlinga)
  • Blamey Barracks (Kapooka)
  • RAAF Base Wagga

The proposed capital investment of $1.7 billion will incorporate various elements, including:

  • Construction of new messing and living accommodation
  • Construction of new training facilities
  • Refurbishment and upgrading of existing buildings
  • Remedial works and upgrades to infrastructure services

Your Role in the Project

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, the Senior Contracts Administrators will provide critical support to project delivery teams with procurement and contract management of subcontract packages, cost forecasting, control, and reporting. Additionally, they will assist with administering Head Contract requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant experience in contracting environments that engage various sub-contractors
  • Experience with large construction projects as well as local exposure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail

This position offers flexibility, with options to be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Albury-Wodonga, or Wagga areas. An attractive relocation package includes removalist costs and LAFHA (for eligible individuals) OR FIFO/DIDO options are available.
