At Healthscope, we are committed to providing high-quality patient care and fostering the growth of our nursing staff. Our Women and Children's Health Nursing Career Opportunity is designed for early career Registered Nurses who are eager to transition into this specialized field.
The program is a 12-month pathway that will see you rotate through various areas of the women and children's service, including Maternity, Paediatrics, and Special Care Nursery. You will be supported by a team of expert Clinical Midwifery/Nurse Educators, clinical facilitators, and Clinical Midwifery/Nurse Specialists to ensure you meet all program objectives.
Upon completion of the program, you will be offered the opportunity to apply for the Graduate Diploma of Midwifery at Northern Beaches Hospital or ongoing employment in Paediatrics or SCN with future opportunities to complete a graduate certificate in one of these areas.
To be eligible for this program, you must have AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse, a minimum of 2 years of experience, and the ability to work a rotating roster. A strong commitment to your own professional development is also essential.
