About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team at the Parramatta Aquatic Centre. As an Aquatic Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality aquatic education and water safety programs to students of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver swim lessons and water safety programs to students in a safe and engaging manner
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students, with a focus on safety and variety
  • Evaluate student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly
  • Organize and maintain teaching equipment and facilities
  • Assist in promoting a customer-oriented environment and providing excellent customer service
  • Promote teamwork and communication through collaborative work practices
Requirements
  • Current Australian Swimming & Water Safety qualification
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • NSW Working with Children Check
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in swim teaching/coaching at all levels from infants to squads
  • First aid certificate
  • Current Australian Teacher of Infant & Preschool qualification
  • Current Australian Teacher of Access & Inclusion qualification
  • Current Australian Teacher of Adult qualification
  • Current Australian Teacher of Competitive Strokes qualification
  • Pool Lifeguard qualification
