Job Summary

The Aboriginal Health Practitioner (AHP)/Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality primary health care to the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community in the Greater Darwin Area.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive and culturally appropriate healthcare services, promoting the well-being and dignity of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Primary Health Care according to standard treatment protocols.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the organization and the community.
  • Maintain cultural sensitivity and advocate for clients' rights and needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Nursing and/or Certificate IV in Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice).
  • Current registration as an AHP/Nurse with a relevant professional body.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing Primary Health Care services.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment, maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
