Job Description:

As a Mental Health Social Worker, you will work closely with service users and their families to advocate for and provide the best possible outcomes. You will be responsible for providing mental health services, developing and implementing treatment plans, collaborating with clinicians and other professionals, and conducting assessments and making recommendations for service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based mental health interventions to meet the needs of service users.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of service users.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for service users.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and make recommendations for service users based on assessment findings.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in social work or a related field.
  • Mental health accreditation or eligibility for registration as a mental health social worker.
  • Able to obtain a National Police Clearance.
