We are building Queensland's future with a significant infrastructure project.

CBGU JV, a joint venture between CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella, and UGL, is delivering the Tunnel and Station Package for Brisbane's Cross River Rail. This 10.2 kilometre rail line will connect Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, featuring 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD.

The project includes construction of four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road, and Woolloongabba, where the future Olympic stadium will be upgraded.

All project sites and offices are based in inner-city Brisbane, offering an excellent work-life balance in Queensland's 'River City', which is booming with activity.

This role sits within the Stations and Fitout construction delivery team, reporting to the Senior Project Engineer on-site. As a Construction Manager for Underground Station Development, you will provide engineering support to deliver successful project outcomes for a large-scale underground station site.

Your recent experience in coordinating and overseeing fit out and finishes or building trade packages will be highly valued.

You will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring key construction requirements to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications.
  • Managing work conducted on site by subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Implementing prompt and safe corrective action on site if required.
  • Maintaining all relevant project document control and records.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of working on South-East Queensland's largest infrastructure project that will leave a lasting legacy for the city of Brisbane.

A recognised degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required, along with demonstrated site experience coordinating subcontractors, preferably in a large-scale building or infrastructure project environment.

We offer competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per annum, depending on your experience.
