About the Role

As a highly motivated and driven individual, you will play a pivotal role in managing our largest existing accounts, driving new business opportunities, and expanding our customer base as a Strategic Sales Growth Manager at GFG Alliance.

This exciting opportunity is based out of Launceston, Tasmania, and offers a unique chance to work with a leading integrated steel manufacturing, distribution, and recycling business. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth, expand market share, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will work closely with the Area Manager and your peer network to achieve these goals, leveraging your exceptional business development skills, innovative thinking, and passion for delivering results.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and expansion of key accounts
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS AND CUSTOMERS
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement initiatives

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

Requirements
  • EXCELLENT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SKILLS, INCLUDING THE ABILITY TO ANALYZE MARKET TRENDS AND COMPETITOR ACTIVITY
  • PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN SALES OR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, PREFERABLY IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
  • SOLID COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS, WITH THE ABILITY TO BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS
  • INNOVATIVE THINKING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS, WITH THE ABILITY TO DRIVE BUSINESS GROWTH AND IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVES
