NPI Engineer

We are seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to join our DroneShield Tech Team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Design, Quality, and Production Teams to take product prototypes through to production.

• Develop and maintain assembly documentation to ensure efficient production processes.
• Collaborate with the Quality Team to develop and maintain production QC documentation.
• Identify inefficiencies and automate production tasks using tools such as Python.
• Work with suppliers to resolve part quality issues and implement supplier level QC processes.
• Train production staff and contract manufacturers on correct assembly and testing procedures.
• Design and develop test jigs for DroneShield products to improve assembly efficiency.

• Experience in electronics assembly and testing of low volume, high complexity equipment.
• Experience with RF equipment and testing preferred.
• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or relevant certification.
• Excellent written and visual communication skills.
• Ability to understand complex concepts and processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Passionate about technology.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a fast-paced team.
