Senior Test Analyst Role

As a Senior Test Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our mobile device and payments project. This position requires strong System Integration Testing (SIT) expertise and a commitment to collaborative work within a Melbourne CBD team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with test planning, scheduling, and reporting. You will be responsible for designing manual test cases using industry-standard tools like Jira and Xray, and ensuring seamless traceability to business and technical requirements.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and schedules.
  • Design and execute manual test cases using approved tools.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of system, integration, end-to-end, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Conduct peer reviews of test assets to guarantee quality and coverage.
  • Investigate and escalate defects, aligning them with test cases.
  • Review and contribute to all test documentation.
  • Generate and manage relevant test data.
  • Set up and configure test environments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Deliver testing on time, within scope, and meeting quality standards.
  • Record detailed test execution results and defects in Jira.
  • Participate in evaluating overall test success criteria.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst in SIT environments.
  • Prior experience working on mobile applications or payment/POS systems projects is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and other industry-standard testing tools is required.
  • Full-time availability for on-site work in Melbourne CBD.
