Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and process grant applications in line with departmental policies and funding requirements.
  2. Maintain accurate records of grant applications, approvals, and funding distributions.
  3. Coordinate communication with applicants, providing guidance on submission requirements and timelines.
  4. Monitor grant compliance and reporting requirements, ensuring timely submission of necessary documentation.
  5. Provide advice and assistance on available support to individuals impacted by disaster events, including access to financial grants as well as human and social initiatives being delivered by local community and NGO partners.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Previous experience in grants management, processing, or administration is preferred but not essential.
