SalaryThe salary for this role is estimated to be around $180,000 + super + shares per year, making it an attractive option for experienced software engineers.
Job DescriptionYou will be working on building an interface that connects to hardware, which saves lives every day. The existing frontend is built in Vue, but they are migrating to React, so being comfortable in vanilla JavaScript and cross-framework would be important. In fact, this role is more about solving problems than being language-specific.
In this role, you will be doing greenfield, never-been-done-before tech. Never-been-done-before can sometimes be seen as a gamble, but seeing as Onset Group has raised $250m and has teams globally, all signs point to them doing it REALLY well.
You don't need to have experience in embedded frontend, but it would help as there is a level of complexity which isn't found in traditional backend-frontend systems. However, if you're super curious and love making complex things simple, this could be a chance to use your skills to do something completely different.
