Job Title: Senior Communications Manager

Viatris is seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Manager to join our team in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). As a key member of our communications team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing Viatris' reputation by driving effective, efficient, and aligned communications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement communications strategies that align with business priorities and enhance Viatris' reputation.
  • Manage communications approval processes and provide strategic counsel on content and messaging.
  • Collaborate with regional and local leaders to enhance internal and external communications.
  • Maintain best practices, procedures, and tools for efficient communications in ANZ.
  • Promote Viatris' commitment to compliance, quality, safety, and ethics.
  • Continuously assess and address evolving communications priorities and commercial needs.
  • Develop annual communications plans aligning with business priorities.
Requirements:
  • Preferred master's degree, minimum bachelor's degree, ideally with specialist education in communications or a related field.
  • Background in health-related business and communications, including digital and social media.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory environment and its impact on communications.
  • Proven track record in leading external communications and strategies that boost employee engagement.
  • Experience in large, matrixed organizations across multiple geographies.
  • Demonstrated success in employee communications and engagement.
  • Creative storytelling and content creation abilities.
  • Competence in developing, implementing, and measuring the success of communications plans.
  • Proactive relationship-building and collaboration with senior leaders.
