Clinical Nurse Specialist Position

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert clinical advice and care management plans for patients with complex health needs.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work autonomously, exercise extended autonomy of decision making, and demonstrate high-level written and verbal communication skills.

You will be working alongside senior nurses, addiction medicine specialists, psychologists, allied health professionals, and consumer teams to provide holistic patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) with relevant post-registration qualifications
  • At least 3 years' experience working in the drug and alcohol nursing field
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex drug & alcohol clinical care and service delivery issues
  • High level of written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills
