About the Role:

Sulzer is seeking a highly skilled Turbine Fitter - Electrical to join our Services_APAC team in Australia. As a pioneer in industry, we have a proud heritage of innovation and continue to evolve for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, repair, and overhaul electro-mechanical equipment, including High, Medium, and Low Voltage electric motors, generators, compressors, turbines, and other rotating equipment.
  • Take direction from Supervisor/Management to ensure day-to-day section operations run smoothly.
  • Control the flow of jobs through the Department, including scheduling, priorities, progress updates, and productivity.
  • Understand and commit to adhering to company values, safety, and quality procedures/policies.
  • Attend on-site to effectively conduct repair of electrical rotating equipment.

Requirements:

  • Trade Certificate level III in Electrical Fitting; Electrical Machine Repair; or equivalent.
  • 5+ years' experience in repair and overhaul of High/Medium/Low voltage electrical rotating equipment and machinery.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High-level problem-solving skills.
  • High-level skills in time management.
