Program Support Worker Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Support Worker to join our family violence team at Good Shepherd's emergency accommodation property.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver programs and activities designed to meet the diverse needs of women and young people residing at the accommodation
  • Build rapport and engage with residents to support them in achieving their personal goals
  • Collaborate with the Case Management and Therapeutic teams to develop and implement effective support strategies
  • Arrange and facilitate transportation and access to external appointments and services
  • Provide administrative support to the program and complete other tasks as required
  • Respond to crises and provide emotional support to families in need
  • Ensure a smooth induction process for new residents, including orientation to the site and surrounding area
