Automotive Data Specialist

Are you an experienced Electrical Technician/Engineer looking for a challenging role in automotive engineering?

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join our team and contribute to the development of Connected Vehicle data collection scripts.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in collecting and analysing data using various methods and tools, with a strong background in electrical engineering and AI/ML.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate vehicle Data Collection scripts in conjunction with our North American team.
  • Develop methods to validate script and data collection, including detailed correlation studies with in-vehicle data acquired using various tools.
  • Develop and validate AI/ML models to accurately predict outcomes based on project scope.
  • Develop data visualisation tool(s) for script data ensuring scalability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in In-Vehicle Data Acquisition, Vehicle instrumentation and Data Signal Processing.
  • 3+ years in Connected Vehicle Data and strong expertise with hardware/software tools such as CANalyzer, ATI Vision, MATLAB, Python, Alteryx, SQL etc.
  • Proven AI/ML experience and in Signal Processing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
