Project Accountant Role Overview

About the Job

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage month-end accruals and project accounting reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of results.
  2. Coordinate with offshore project managers to achieve budget and forecast targets while identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  3. Support annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, including data analysis, stakeholder management, and outcome evaluation.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication, problem-solving, and issue resolution.
  5. Continuously improve financial processes, procedures, and controls, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of finance systems, including JD Edwards and Ingenious platforms.
Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a project-based environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality accounting services, meeting deadlines, and achieving targets.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
  • Familiarity with financial software, such as JD Edwards and Excel.
