Centre Manager Job Description

The role of Centre Manager involves overseeing the day-to-day operational running of a site, providing leadership and motivation to the team, and having a significant impact on the centre's performance.

This permanent full-time role offers opportunities for growth, stability, and security as part of a larger organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Production Workshop Management: Ensure targets are achieved and vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident condition in accordance with quality expectations.
  2. Quality, Quotes, Parts, and Vehicle Management: Ensure comprehensive and accurate quotes, QA inspections, and vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident condition.
  3. Customer Service and Stakeholder Management: Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and work providers through prompt, professional, and friendly interactions.
  4. Profit and Loss, Reporting, and Administration: Ensure the site operates profitability. Prepare and review P&Ls, budgets, job costings, KPIs, and management reports to understand site performance.
  5. Leadership and People Management: Oversee staffing on site and ensure staffing levels and processes are in place. Proactively build and maintain positive work provider relationships.
  6. Work Health and Safety (WHS): Ensure the site remains safe by maintaining the WHS management system, following all WHS policies and procedures, and reporting and actioning safety incidents/near misses.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Highly motivated and driven to exceed targets.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar Automotive Management role is advantageous.
