About the Role

As a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Therapist at SA Health, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the mental health and well-being of people. You will provide evidence-based interventions through individual therapy, DBT group programs, and consultation with the multidisciplinary treatment team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing proficient, person-centered, DBT-related education and interventions
  • Working within a supportive team to deliver DBT services to people accessing mental health services
  • Participating in the review of the effectiveness of DBT within SA Health mental health services
  • Contributing to the support of other DBT clinicians via the DBT consult group process, as well as utilizing this opportunity for reflective practice
Requirements
  • Registered as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (RN2C) or hold an honours degree or equivalent recognized by the Psychology Board of Australia (AHP2)
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in a clinical role with a mental health service
  • Demonstrated skills regarding the implementation and review of therapy programs
  • Demonstrated interest in DBT
