Casual Seasonal Pool Lifesaver Opportunities

About the Role:
- Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for pool patrons as a Swimming Pool Safety Officer.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of our swimming pools with support from Aquatic Centre staff.
- Participate in growth and development opportunities in a dynamic work environment.
- Multiple casual positions available.
We create vibrant and inclusive communities through health and wellness programs at our Aquatic Centre.
The centre offers facilities for all ages, promoting overall well-being and social interaction.
Job Description- Supervise pool patrons for their safety and enjoyment.
- Apply Water Safety guidelines and Council's adopted Swimming Pool Operations Manual.
- Perform lifeguard, rescue, and first aid duties when required.
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining swimming pool plant and equipment.
- Keep facilities clean and well-presented.
Key Requirements:
- First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
- A current NSW Working With Children Check
- A Pool Lifeguard Skill Set (SISSS00111) or willingness to obtain this qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing situations
- A positive attitude and commitment to exceptional service
Experience in a lifeguarding role or similar would be beneficial but not essential, as training can be provided.
