Clinical Directors play a pivotal role in shaping the future of anaesthesia departments. - Lead a team of 15 specialist anaesthetists and 2 GP anaesthetists, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and anaesthesia services for public patients, ensuring best practice clinical governance and patient safety standards.
- Deliver consultative anaesthetic support across multiple disciplines and two hospitals, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to education and training through the University of Tasmania Rural Clinical School, enhancing the skills and knowledge of junior medical staff.
- Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA), demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
- Current AHPRA Specialist Registration, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and mentoring ability, essential for effective team management and professional development.
- Commitment to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and professional development, driving continuous improvement and quality enhancement.
