**Job Role:**

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team in the utility domain.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out functional testing based on user requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily meetings, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify project needs.
  • Document defects and support root cause analysis.
  • Contribute to test documentation and process improvement.

Key Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in performing functional testing and creating comprehensive test reports.
  • A strong background in Utilities Sector, specifically testing electricity and gas markets (e.g. MSTATS, CATS, B2B, etc).
  • A thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle in agile environments.
  • Strong skills in analyzing functional and system requirements to create test cases.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in utility domain and functional testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
