Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled hairdresser to become part of our talented team of stylists. As a hairdresser at M1 Hair Studio Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service and exceptional work to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Consultations: Provide clients with tailored advice on hair care routines, recommending appropriate products and suggesting hairstyles that suit their lifestyle and personal preferences.
  2. Hair Services: Regularly wash clients' hair, apply conditioners, and massage the scalp to ensure hair is clean and well-prepared for cutting or styling. Safely apply hair dye, relaxers, perms, and other chemical treatments to achieve desired hair color and texture.
  3. Hair Cutting and Styling: Use scissors, clippers, and razors to skillfully cut and shape hair, tailoring each cut to the client's unique features and preferences. Design and execute intricate styles such as braids, dreadlocks, and extensions, ensuring they meet client expectations and current trends.
  4. Beard and Moustache Services: Shave, trim, and shape beards and moustaches to give clients a polished and well-groomed appearance.
  5. Sanitation and Organization: Routinely clean and sanitize workstations, tools, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment for both clients and staff. Organize client schedules, confirm appointments, and process payments efficiently to keep the salon running smoothly.
  6. Additional Services: Occasionally customize wigs and hairpieces by washing, cutting, and styling them to fit specific client needs, ensuring a natural and appealing look.
Requirements
  1. Demonstrated experience as a hairdresser with at least 3 years in a salon environment.
  2. High proficiency in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments, particularly specializing in women's hair, including blondes and hair extensions.
  3. Proficient in working with hair extensions.
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of various hair types, textures, and current trends.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. A strong passion for providing outstanding customer service.
  7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a keen eye for detail.
