The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Radiographer to join our team at Northern Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing diagnostic imaging services to patients and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI scanners.
- Analyze images to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide reports to referring physicians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiation safety protocols and best practices.
- Provide exceptional patient care and communication skills to ensure a positive experience.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements:
- Degree in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Radiation Use Licence with the Department of Health Victoria.
- Relevant experience in CT and/or MRI imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in RIS-PACS systems.
