- Demonstrate experience in person-centred practice, service continuous improvement, evidence-based treatment, and service delivery.
- Engage in case conferencing and problem-solving of complex care needs.
- Proactively deliver evidence-based reablement pathways that ensure client physical, social, and mental health benefits.
- Demonstrate a willingness to mentor students and increase your personal skill set.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to our clients. The successful candidate will have:
- A tertiary level qualification in Exercise Physiology and current registration with Exercise and Sports Science Australia.
- Experience delivering health literacy to clients.
- Well-developed technical skills to design, implement, and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions for older people.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the effects of exercise interventions in managing chronic and complex clinical presentations.
- Ability to teach, coach, and motivate clients using models of behaviour change, scientific evidence, and clinical reasoning.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to maintain concise documentation.
- Proficient computer skills, including the ability to use the Google Suite and various in-house databases.
- Commitment to professional self-development in the field of clinical exercise.
