About the Job

This role is a key position in our organization, focused on developing and maintaining data engineering workflows. The successful candidate will have expertise in creating automated workflows and AI/ML pipelines.

As a senior data engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and refining internal software tools used for processing data, workflow automation, benchmarking, and testing.

You will also collaborate with field service engineers and drone pilots to collect in-field test data from sensors for analysis, manage and enhance data-engineering workflows for processing collected data, and work closely with other engineers to become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in object-oriented programming, experience with CI/CD and DataOps, and proficiency in Linux and containerization (Docker).

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar technical field of study
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional Data / Software Engineering environment
  • Experience in creating automated workflows (CI/CD, DataOps) and AI/ML pipelines (MLOps)
  • Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language with strong expertise in one or more general-purpose programming languages (ideally Python/Java)
