Job Title: Cyber Security Strategist

The University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Strategist to drive the development and implementation of its cybersecurity strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in cyber security governance, risk management, and incident response. They will also lead multidisciplinary security teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

The Cyber Security Strategist will ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks, including ISM, SOCI, DISP, and ISO 27001. They will build strong partnerships across the University, government, and industry to advance security outcomes.

  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategies.
  • Provide strategic leadership in governance, risk management, and incident response.
  • Lead multidisciplinary security teams and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks and build partnerships to advance security outcomes.
