Financial Accounting Specialist

The role requires a professional with strong analytical and communication skills to deliver high-quality financial information.
This position plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of organisational finances, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with all relevant requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records and reports;
- Completing month-end and year-end reconciliations;
- Managing payroll and revenue data;
- Capturing accruals and prepayments;
- Coordinating balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting tasks.
About the Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor Degree or higher in Accounting/Commerce;
- Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia (ICAA) and/or Certified Practising Accountants of Australia (CPA);
- Proven technical experience in financial accounting, including month-end processing, reconciliations, and reporting;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly;
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
