Job Overview

The Enterprise Portfolio Assurance Lead plays a pivotal role in driving the success of delivery projects and programs across the organization.

This leadership position will focus on providing services to support program methods, governance, and assurance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the Enterprise Portfolio Services Framework and Methods, ensuring they are continually assessed and adapted to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate, educate, and embed common methods and approaches.
  • Manage the process to ensure outputs from reviews are captured, assessed, prioritised, and actioned to improve programme/project execution.
  • Assess the need for investment approval and conduct assurance reviews in collaboration with programmes/projects.
  • Work with Risk and Internal Audit to establish best practice approach and processes for risk management and compliance.
  • Provide start-up services to newly established teams, including insights and advice to enable rapid adoption of AEMO Methods, Processes, and Quick Reference Guides.
  • Deliver enterprise portfolio reporting during project delivery, including major program management reporting and major project KPI reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience working across large-scale transformation and change, as well as small-scale delivery and change.
  • Significant experience leading teams in successful delivery projects or programs.
  • Experience following project, program, and DevOps methodologies, such as Prince2, Waterfall, Agile, and business change methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with ability to influence at leadership level.
