We are seeking highly skilled and experienced academics to join our pool of Sessional Academics. As a Sessional Academic, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the teaching and learning experience of our students across a range of study areas in the School of Design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and assess students in various units, including Impact Labs and Foundation Units.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality learning materials and assessments.
  • Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
  • Collaborate with Unit Coordinators and other academics to ensure a cohesive and effective teaching and learning environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree in an area relevant to Design.
  • Relevant and current industry experience.
  • Experience of teaching and/or assessing skills.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to undertake an induction to QUT and complete mandatory online training as required for all staff at QUT.
