Job Description

We are seeking an inspiring mathematics leader who will champion excellence in mathematics and play a pivotal role in shaping a whole-school approach to numeracy teaching and learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for mathematics education and student learning.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Implement a coherent and engaging mathematics curriculum that aligns with curriculum standards.
  • Evidence of successfully embedding current evidence-based approaches in mathematics instruction to improve student learning outcomes.
  • Expertise in leading collaborative planning, building teacher knowledge and modelling effective practices.
  • Capacity to use data and evidence to drive improvement, plan targeted interventions and measure student growth.
  • Experience in supporting staff to differentiate learning, ensuring all students are challenged and supported in their mathematical development.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
Benefits

This is a full-time position offering a competitive remuneration package commencing at the beginning of 2026.

Selection Criteria
  • Proven ability to lead the implementation of a whole-school F–6 mathematics curriculum.
  • Evidence of successful embedding of current evidence-based approaches in mathematics instruction.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading collaborative planning and building teacher knowledge.
  • Strong capacity to use data and evidence to drive improvement.
  • Experience in supporting staff to differentiate learning.
