Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Retail Store Manager to join our team at Rare Spares. As a key member of our store operations team, you will work closely with the Store Manager to lead the store's success, coach and develop our team members, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager in leading the store's operations to achieve success, including managing store inventory, maintaining a safe and organized store environment, and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Team Development: Coach and develop our team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Customer Service: Provide genuine service, creating moments that matter for our customers, and ensure that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Safety Leadership: Lead by example, providing a safe work environment for yourself, team members, and customers, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Store Management: Assist the Store Manager with opening and closing responsibilities, including managing store inventory, processing transactions, and maintaining store appearance.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous supervisory experience or be ready for that next step, with a proven track record of leading teams and achieving sales targets.
  • Skills: Previous retail or trade experience, including sales, wholesale, and/or workshop operations experience, with a strong understanding of mechanical/automotive parts knowledge.
  • Availability: Flexible availability, including the ability to work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, and hold a valid driver's license.
  • Physical Demands: The physical capacity to perform the duties of the role, including handling products of a heavy nature.
