The Role

We are seeking a qualified diesel mechanic or diesel technician to join our Maintenance division. The successful candidate will be responsible for workshop and 'on-site' servicing, diagnosing and repair works. You will primarily work on Caterpillar models but also on brands from Volvo, Komatsu & Hitachi.

  • Conduct service and diagnostic activities across a range of earthmoving equipment.
  • Complete on-site repairs, inclusive of completing tasks in a timely manner and to a very high standard.
  • Complete workshop repairs and component rebuilds in our fully equipped workshop located in Rocklea.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must be physically fit and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. A positive and self-motivated attitude is essential, as well as sound problem-solving skills. Your attention to detail and ability to demonstrate these qualities will make you well-suited to this rewarding position.

  • Be physically fit.
  • Can pass a drug and alcohol test.
  • Have a Construction Industry Card (White Card).
  • Travel is required, MUST be willing to travel to and from projects.
  • Immediate start.

  • $80-$110 per hour negotiable based on experience.
  • 8 on, 6 off roster.
