About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Laverton or Sunshine Plant Yard. As a key member of our Plant team, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our specialized plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with supervisors to ensure cost-effective and efficient service/repairs to plant, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Carry out inspections, repairs, and servicing on plant, vehicles, and equipment at the Plant Yard or other designated locations.
  • Safely operate plant and equipment for testing purposes.
  • Safely store plant, equipment, and materials.
  • Communicate and report plant status and issues to the Plant Supervisor.
  • Provide technical support to operating staff.
  • Adhere to internal processes and procedures.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A trade qualification in Diesel Mechanic or Auto Electrician.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • The ability to work in a team and individually.
  • High motivation, honesty, and a commitment to safety.
  • Ability to travel to projects across Australia and potentially overseas.
