About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Specialist/SMO Psychiatrist to join our team in a rural Queensland hospital. As a key member of our mental health team, you will provide specialist psychiatric knowledge and skills to facilitate the delivery of quality mental health care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychiatric care to patients in a rural setting
  • Work collaboratively with the mental health team to deliver high-quality care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Contribute to the development of mental health services in the region
