Senior School Teacher - Literacy and Numeracy Focus

We are seeking an experienced Senior School Teacher to join our dynamic team, commencing Term 4 2024. This permanent full-time role involves delivering the Australian curriculum with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy skills for students who have historically been disengaged from schooling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cater to the needs of upper primary, middle school level students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school objectives and planning initiatives.
  • Maintain a supportive learning environment that fosters academic growth and social development.
  • Collaborate with an expert adventure-based learning coordinator to design and deliver group programs.
  • Promote integrated learning approaches, emphasizing transferable skills from the Human Capabilities Framework.
  • Participate in accountability processes, including reporting, individual personal learning plans, and requirements for National Consistency Coalition Data.
  • Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary, inter-disciplinary team to achieve shared goals.
