Android Mobile Applications Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Android mobile applications specialist to refine and enhance our application features. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for innovation and user-centric design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Rearchitect, redesign, and reimplement existing Android applications to improve their functionality and performance
  • Implement new features, optimize the application's efficiency, and resolve any arising technical issues
  • Maintain the application's stability and reliability across various devices and operating systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering managers, product managers, designers, and QA engineers
Requirements:
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
  • Proficiency in working within a Mac/Linux development environment
  • Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java programming languages with expertise in the Android SDK and supporting multiple Android devices and versions
  • Understanding of Android UI development, including traditional Views and Jetpack Compose
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with back-end services
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
