About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in the Hunter Valley & Newcastle NSW regions. As a Physiotherapist with Kawa Allied Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a community-based setting, providing evidence-based Physiotherapy assessment and therapy to clients under various funding streams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Physiotherapy services to clients in their homes, community centers, or other settings as required
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of Allied Health Professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients
  • Prescribe mobility aids and equipment to support client goals and independence
  • Lead centre-based and warm-water group exercise programs to promote physical activity and social interaction
  • Develop and implement individualized Physiotherapy plans to meet the unique needs of each client
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Experience or desire to learn My Aged Care & NDIS funding schemes
  • Current drivers license
  • Police Check – HRG will conduct as part of background screening process
  • Working with Children Check – this can be obtained post application
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check – this can be obtained post application
  • CPR & First Aid Certification – this can be obtained post application
