Job Summary:
The Program Manager will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Medicines Repurposing Program.
You will be working closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities, achieve outcomes, and facilitate cooperation.
This role requires excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain detailed program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
- Manage the program scope and monitor progress against key activities, keeping it on track by proactively identifying, assessing, and resolving roadblocks
- Report on program status to senior executives
- Prepare and review written work, including briefs, policy papers, and communication material
- Lead and motivate the program team, working with Medical Officers to manage tasks and ensure clear communication among stakeholders
- Foster a positive and productive work environment for the program team
- Support and mentor team members, including coaching and training to uplift capability and build knowledge
Requirements:
- Ability to exercise independence and perform a leadership role using organisation and management skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with experience in managing projects or programs from start to finish
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely about complex matters
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary package, ranging from $80.00 to $100.00 per hour, plus superannuation benefits.
