Academic Geographer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced academic to contribute to the teaching, research and service activities of our School.

• A postgraduate qualification in geography or a closely related discipline.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to complete a graduate certificate in tertiary teaching/education.
• Experience teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students using multi-modal delivery strategies.
• A proven research record with recent publications and the ability to contribute to our research program.

• Possession of a PhD in geography or a closely related discipline.
• Experience in team leadership and mentoring junior academic staff.
• The ability to develop engaging teaching materials and effectively collaborate with industry and community partners.

• Develop and deliver foundation and profession-focused units.
• Engage in quality research and scholarly activity.
• Support students across undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels.
