Boiler Operator Role Summary

This is a key opportunity for skilled and experienced professionals to join our team for an exciting campaign at the LNG facility located in Darwin. The scope includes the provision of services to supply a nitrogen membrane spread with a capacity of 10,000 scfm, including two liquid nitrogen equipment spreads and a 4,000 scfm nitrogen membrane spread.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up flushing and degreasing equipment, including pumps, filtration units, hoses, and boilers for heating. They will perform function testing of pumps, flow meters, and pressure gauges before initiating flushing activities and operate boilers and circulation pumps to generate the required temperature and pressure for the flushing and degreasing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct mechanical preparations, including hose tie-ins, flange torquing, and leak checks, to ensure a secure and leak-free flushing circuit
  • Operate centrifugal pumps, diesel driven, as part of the flushing and degreasing process

Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience in operating various types of pumps and be able to work effectively within a diverse and inclusive organization.
