Overview

Susquehanna Pacific is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantitative Equity Analyst to join our Research team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying investment opportunities in the equity or options market, providing real-time opinions on breaking news, and collaborating with senior analysts and traders to develop trade ideas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze upcoming volatility events
  • Provide real-time opinions on breaking news
  • Forecast dividends
  • Evaluate special situations such as mergers and acquisitions and other corporate actions
  • Collaborate with derivative traders on investment ideas
  • Perform stock valuation analysis
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills
  • Demonstrable interest in, and some knowledge of, macroeconomic environment and political events
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with a trading environment and derivative products preferred
  • Must be a self-starter, a quick learner, an effective communicator, and resourceful in solving problems
