About the Role

At FIS Australia, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and delivering high-quality technical solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, DevOps engineers, and business analysts, to drive innovation and excellence in software development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Be involved in the full software development life cycle, including designing, coding, testing, implementing, and maintaining software that meets our high standards for quality and reliability.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with stakeholders to define and translate requirements into actionable product designs, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 6+ years of relevant experience in a commercial environment, with a strong background in object-oriented, service-oriented architecture, and domain-driven design.
  • Skills: Proficiency in .NET, C#, Angular, JavaScript, WCF, Web Services, NUnit, ADO.NET, HTML5, and CSS, as well as hands-on experience with data modeling, database schema design, and SQL programming on SQL Server.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must have permanent working rights in Australia and be capable of working onsite in Sydney.
