About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Assistant to join our team in supporting students with special needs. As an Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting teaching staff in the delivery of planned education programs and promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teaching staff in the delivery of education programs and provide feedback on student progress.
  • Support students with special needs in a variety of settings, including classrooms and therapy rooms.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and development of education programs, including special education and therapy programs.
  • Assist with the general health and wellbeing of students, as required.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Knowledge of health and physical disabilities in students and adolescents.
  • Ability to assist with general health and wellbeing of students.
  • Experience working with students with special needs, or a willingness to learn and develop skills in this area.
